Roger Keating, Senior Vice President, Hearst Television: Roger Keating runs the digital
media effort for Hearst Television. His scope includes Hearst Television's station web sites, mobile television and interactive TV. He came to Hearst Television with a broad background in various sectors of the media industry. Mr. Keating has run large cable TV operations at Comcast and more recently at Time Warner, where he presided over the integration of the Adelphia acquisition in the Los Angeles Region. He ran the voice services business at AOL, and also ran the AOL Health and AOL Travel verticals. He led the formation of Comcast's Internet division in the mid 90's and oversaw the development of their high speed data business. And he was founder/CEO of a dot com in 1998 named "Zatso" that worked with local TV broadcasters to offer streaming video-based "personalized newscasts". Keating began his career after graduating from Notre Dame with an Industrial Engineering degree as an efficiency expert, working in factories and distribution facilities. After obtaining an MBA from Stanford, Mr. Keating worked as a strategy consultant at Mercer Management Consulting in disparate industries ranging from jet fighters to bakeries.

Terry Denson, Vice President - Programming and Marketing, Verizon FiOS TV: A
s vice president of Programming and Marketing Verizon FiOS TV, Terry Denson oversees the creation and implementation of video product packaging, pricing and marketing strategies; video content acquisitions, in addition to customer acquisition, retention and education. Denson served most recently as vice president of Programming for Insight Communications, the ninth-largest cable operator in the country, where he led the acquisition of programming, in addition to the development of analog, digital, video-on-demand, high definition TV, Broadband and interactive content strategies. Previously, as director of Business Development for the Affiliate Sales and Marketing department of MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International, he negotiated affiliation agreements, managed the sales and distribution of multiple video services, and directed analyses of trends in the market. As general attorney for ABC, he managed numerous content rights and distribution issues. A graduate of Harvard University, Denson holds a J.D. degree from Georgetown University.


David Purdy is Vice President and General Manager Television Products at Rogers Cable. He has an extensive back ground in the Television industry, and has helped launch several Canadian Specialty Channels including Discovery Channel Canada, The Comedy Network, OLN Canada, and Rogers Sportsnet. In addition to his extensive content knowledge, Mr. Purdy has been instrumental in launching a number of New Products at Rogers Cable Inc., including Interactive Television, VOD, FOD, SVOD, HD, PVR., Switched Digital, and over 100 channels into the Canadian Market. Mr. Purdy brings his comprehensive knowledge of the Media industry to projects that leverage off of the unique two way technology of the Cable industry. Mr. Purdy combines a passion for content with a grasp of technology to forge a keen understanding of how the media business will be impacted by current and future technological innovation.


Rebecca Glashow, SVP, Digital Media Distribution, Discovery Communications: As senior vice president, digital media distribution for Discovery Communications, Rebecca Glashow is charged with creating and executing opportunities to expand Discovery's digital footprint and support the evolving cable business. Asserting Discovery's leadership in the space, Glashow works with operators to drive the growth of their VOD, interactive TV and internet services as well as broker broadband and mobile deals for content from across Discovery's family of U.S. networks. Previously, as vice president, digital media distribution, Rebecca Glashow oversaw the distribution of Discovery Mobile as well as broadband and iTV programming on digital platforms. In addition, she was responsible for developing new and existing relationships with emerging content distributors as well as top MSOs and DBS providers to drive revenue, enhance the quality of services for Discovery's partners and increase brand presence in the market. Before joining Discovery, Glashow was director, video-on-demand and interactive television, content acquisitions for Comcast Cable Communications, where she negotiated new media license agreements, built content strategy, spearheaded new product initiatives and developed ad sales opportunities with Comcast Spotlight. Glashow played an integral role in expanding Comcast's video-on-demand content offerings, securing the first movie VOD deal with Disney and launching a pioneering initiative with IFC Films that offered movies on-demand the same day they premiered in theaters. Prior to that, Glashow was with iN Demand Networks, serving as director, content planning and management, specializing in high-definition and video-on-demand programs and platforms. In this role, she was responsible for licensing VOD content for cable operators and developing original co-productions and acquiring programming for the INHD network. Among her many accomplishments, she launched the first VOD systems with Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications in 2001. Glashow also worked in film development, making acquisitions, soliciting financing and selling distribution rights for Unapix, a home video company. Glashow holds a bachelor's degree from Brown University. She is based at Discovery's offices in New York.

Andrew Corry, Senior Vice President, Director Amphibian. Initiative: Andrew (Drew) Corry is Senior Vice President, Director of Initiative’s Amphibian unit with specific responsibility for managing the agency’s hybrid staff of multiplatform advertising specialists. Corry stewards Amphibian’s mission of creating digital extensions that reach across analog and digital marketing platforms including television, online, digital video, video on-demand and interactive television (ITV) applications. Under Drew’s leadership, the Amphibian unit is fully integrated within Initiative’s account management teams and proactively pursues ideas and promotions that can best deliver a client’s target audience on the various screens, platforms and devices they’ve come to expect. Corry has led the Amphibian unit since its inception in 2007. In this period, the team has executed countless cross-platform activations on behalf of clients including SC Johnson, Miller Coors, Big Lots, Las Vegas Tourism and Hyundai/Kia. Corry joined Initiative as a member of the agency’s national broadcast team with account responsibility for Coors Brewing Company, Levi’s, Dockers, John Deere and the United States Postal Service. Drew received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration & Marketing from Bryant College. He makes his home with his wife in New Jersey.

Shahid Khan, Chairman and Chief Strategist, MediaMorph, Inc.: Shahid Khan is an acclaimed thought leader in converging Media and Telecommunications industries, with tremendous track-record of helping leading media, cable and wireless compaies to identify and capitalize on opportunities based on emerging platforms and launching initiatives across Digital Music, Broadband TV, Mobile TV, HD Networks, eBooks, etc. Shahid is currently the Chairman and Chief Strategist at MediaMorph, the leading global provider of cross-platform tracking, measurement, licensing and royalties management platforms for media companies with clients such as Warner Brothers, HBO, Sony, etc. Prior to joining MediaMorph, Shahid was a Senior Partner at IBB Consulting Group, LLC, a premier boutique consulting firm serving leading Cable, Mobile and Media companies. At IBB, Shahid advised top management at leading clients such as Sony Entertainment, Scholastic, Disney, Hearst, IAC, Showtime, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision and Comcast on Business and Operational Strategy, Digital Strategy, New Product/Service Development/Launch, Merger Integration, and Business Development. Some of Shahid’s recent engagements include the transformation of Advertising operations for a leading Cable MSO, development of Advanced TV strategy for a group of broadcasters, development of Digital Strategy for a major Hollywood studio, merger integration of on-line businesses for a leading sports TV network, acquisition planning of a TV network, as well as launches of: an on-line news venture, an on-line movie service, a multi-platform TV network, a mobile TV network, an HD TV network, a broadband entertainment portal, an children’s eBook service and a mobile communications service. Prior to joining IBB, Shahid was a Managing Director at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), responsible for leading BearingPoint’s Entertainment and Information Services industry practices, serving clients such as Warner Music, Major League Baseball, Thomson-Reuters, Moody’s and Rodale. Prior to that, he was a Client Services Partner at IBM Global Services in Communication Industry, serving clients such as Viacom, Bertelsmann, Cablevision and the New York Times. Shahid holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and is a Fellow at U. Penn’s Wharton School of Business. He has published numerous white-papers, is a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences, and is often quoted in leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Red Herring, the New York Times, etc.
