Debbie Solomon, Managing Director, Business Planning, Mindshare: She serves as an in-house consultant to the planning and buying groups on a wide variety of media research and planning issues. Her work encompasses all media disciplines and she has worked on all the agencys clients. She is also part of MindShares global Insights team. Debbie was at J. Walter Thompson when the media departments of J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather merged to become MindShare. She joined J. Walter Thompson after working in the Media Research Department at Leo Burnett. This was preceded by marketing research positions at Britt & Frerichs, Quaker Oats, and Milton Bradley.She has won a number of industry honors. Recently, Media Magazine named her one of the 10 most influential people navigating the waters of the magazine business and MIN named her to the Sweet 16 in print. In 1998, she was named Top Kid Researcher by KidScreen magazine and earlyier, MediaWeek magazine elected her Media Research All-Star, largely for her work in childrens measurement. And Esquire magazine has honored her as a Woman We Love in Advertising. She has also won several corporate awards including WPPs Atticus Award for original published thinking for her paper on Wearout and J. Walter Thompsons White Pea award for media innovation. Debbie has also been one of a select group of people invited to meet with the International Olympic Committee to advise them on the state of media in the future. Debbie has an M.A. in psychology from Duke University and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Chicago. You may have seen her articles in Advertising Age, AdMap, Marketing and Media Decisions, the Journal of Advertising Research and the Journal of Media Planning. She sits on the AAAAs Consumer Magazine and Media Research Committees and chairs the Advertising Research Foundations Youth Research Council. She also is part of the Accrediting Council for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the body that accredits Advertising programs at colleges and universities. In her spare time, Debbie indulges her creative side through silversmithing.

David Rosenberg, Director of Emerging Media, JWT New York: David is the Director of Emerging Media at JWT New York and has been with the agency for five years. Davids group focuses on marketing strategy and development of social media, mobile, and gaming programs for global and national roster clients including Microsoft, Nestlé, Cadbury, Bloomberg, Macys and more. Further JWT responsibilities include developing partnerships, integrated programs and branded communities including the Clio- and Effie-winning and Emmy-nominated Dominos Pizza and eBay program Anything Goes, and award-winning social communities for Stride Gum. David also constructed the marketing wire frame for The Nursery, a JWT creative incubation and experimentation lab that produced original animation content to aggregate audiences on and offline. David is on the WPP Social Media Committee and contributes to JWT new business initiatives and has led corporate programs including a viral program that launched in partnership with The Huffington Post.
Linda Gridley, President and CEO, Gridley & Company LLC: Ms. Gridley has over twen ty years of Wall Street investment banking experience with fifteen years of transactional experience focused in the Companys targeted industry sectors. Ms. Gridley founded Gridley & Company LLC in August 2001. Immediately prior, she was Managing Director in the U.S. Media Client Services Group at ABN Amro. Ms. Gridley joined ABN Amro in May 2001 when the firm acquired the U.S. Investment Banking business of ING Barings, where she was a Managing Director and head of the firms Information and Internet Services Group. At ING Barings, Ms. Gridley was responsible for the origination and execution of all of the firms U.S. Investment Banking business in the Information and Internet Services sector. She was also a member of the firms Fairness Opinion Committee. Ms. Gridley joined ING Barings in October, 1997 when the firm acquired Furman Selz LLC where she was a Managing Director covering Information and Internet Services companies. Prior to joining Furman Selz in February 1996, Ms. Gridley spent ten years in the M&A Department and the Technology Group at Lehman Brothers. Her 20+ year career in investment banking includes financial advisory work on behalf of technology industry leaders and emerging growth and middle market companies in all product areas (M&A, Public and Private Equity, and Public and Private Debt). Ms. Gridley received her MBA degree from the Amos Tuck School and her A.B. degree from Dartmouth College.
